So apparently before I updated this again I was meant to lose someone else dear to me. My great aunt passed away a week ago this past Wednesday.
My life hasn't been anything spectacular but has been going well for the most part. My boss has upped my hours and I found out that I get to go to New York with my wife for our first wedding anniversary. It is going to be so great. I can't wait. When I come back I will have stories, photos and videos to share.
Check out my wedding blog for more information on the trip. :D Later Gater

Endings
So to make this not such a sad post I am going to talk about more that just real life endings but TV endings.
So since I last posted I have lost 3 people in my life. My great-grandmother(Grandma S.), my grandmother(Granny), and my great-grandfather(Grandpa S.). It was a rough time for me between life changing, what felt like 2 simultaneous funerals, and surgeries.
I had reconnected with my Granny and Papa(not pawpaw) while in college. I was actually mad when Granny passed away. 1 because she didn't attend my college graduation and I didn't realize it was because she was really sick. 2 because I found out she was really sick and I hated myself for being mad at her. 3 because no-one told me she was really sick and I didn't get to say goodbye.
My biggest regret almost 7 years ago when I lost my Papa(pawpaw) was that I did not use my last chance to go see him when I could've. So I promised myself I would never let that happen and for the most part I did my best. I visited and made peace with people as best I could. But I didn't get to say goodbye to Grandma Scruggs because the trip I was planning was days late. Then I didn't get to see Granny one last time because the trip I was planning to see her was a month late. Then Grandpa S. passed away in 2011 and it was too quick for me to know and get to say my goodbye. The last time I saw him was at Grandma S.'s funeral.
So needless to say I battled many regrets, anger and sadness. Then when it felt like I was coming up for air, I was told I had 4 lumps in my breast. I had to have surgery to remove 2 of the biggest and my surgeon agreed we would watch the other 2. The recovery was the worst ever. I went several months, worked, married, had my honeymoon and then the dreaded 6 month appointment to check the other 2. To my immense joy I now had 6 lumps including the 2 that were left in. Due to the placement of them and my surgeon not wanting to make me have 3 separate incisions and a hard recovery decided he would take out the 3 that were almost right on top of one another in different levels of tissue. So with 3 lumps removed we are now watching the other 3. My next appointment is in May and I'm hoping I don't need another surgery. If I do I plan to hold off until after we go to NY to get married.
Now that that was depressing, let's go to an ending that is sad for me but is just an ending to people not invested. I have been watching One Tree Hill since end of season 2 beginning of season 3. It ended a week and a day ago. It was sad for me because that helped me deal with a lot of stuff. It introduced me to music, inspired me and just generally made me happy. It seems like since it has ended that my last tie to my childhood has ended. I am happy to be an adult but it was nice to have something reliable to turn to, now I just don't know what to do. Sure there are great shows still on the air but none that were there for me through good times and bad. Oh well such is life. One day I hope to work on such a great show. Thank you to the cast and crew for 9 years.

2 Years Later
Wow my life has changed since I last updated this blog, even since I started the blog.
Let's see how to update this thing...Well first things first my friend and I are cool as are my then fiancee and I. Everything worked out with everything.
I am now 24 years old, have graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting. As of June 25, 2011 I married Addie my then-fiancee. It was a wedding at our church in Texas. We are currently planning a trip to New York to become legally wed. We have our ups and downs as do all couples but we are happy. I did not end up graduating in December 2010 instead I graduated in August 2010. So that made me very happy.
My sister had another baby in August of 2011. So now my number of nieces and nephews has went up by one. His name is Austin and he is so cute. I was the one who named him. Technically I have more nieces and nephews from my stepsisters but their kids don't think of me that way so that's why they aren't counted in that number. If I was to count them it would be 13 nieces and nephews. As for my cousins I have 11 including biological that I don't see often, adopted and step-cousins. My family is very large.
I am still living in an apartment, although not the same one I was living in as of the last posts. We have moved twice since then. Once to a small efficiency and then to another 1 bedroom apartment. I am still working and it is a job I have had for two years now. I am a security officer. I love my job because of the responsibility. I do however wish I had a job in my career field.
I was able to learn some basic guitar but since my friend took her guitar back I haven't become very good at it. I have finished The Chronicles of Narnia,
Dear John and A Walk To Remember. I recently finished The Hunger Games Trilogy and love the story. I also recently finished Sisterhood Everlasting. I loved seeing where the characters from the original books went in their lives, and reading it at this age was like Kismet. I am about to begin Killing Mr. Griffin, I saw the movie with Mario Lopez and Amy Jo Johnson and loved it. Interestingly enough the author of the book isn't foreign to me, I read The Third Eye back in Junior High/High School. I also plan to read Left Behind, The Bible, The Lucky One and anything else I can get my hands on.
I recently started up my own Radio Station titled ART Shuffle. It is mostly a station devoted to a mix of songs. It is my way of keeping current in Broadcasting. I have come up with some special shows so that is what I am currently working on implementing. I also created a new YouTube to show off my video talents and keep current in the film side of my broadcasting degree.
I am staying busy and will try to keep this updated and I hope it can help my readers in whatever way. Whether I inspire you or entertain you, please continue to check out my blogs.

ugh my fiancee
Okay I love my fiancee so much but sometimes she doesnt know when to keep her mouth shut. A friend of ours came by that I am having issues with and I was working on trying to post about Frances Reid so I listened to what she had to say but wasnt adding much. I was busy and I knew if I started it would be a fight and I didnt want to fight. I've actually managed to have an okay day and didnt want it turn bad. Well the friend whines to my fiancee that she didnt feel welcome when we allowed her and her boyfriend to stay last week (we have a one bedroom) and that she felt our other friend was more welcome. Well yea I might've been giving off those vibes considering I live in a small one bedroom with my fiancee and we have two extra people staying that feel like they deserve more when we are struggling..ie - food. So of course I'm more welcoming to the people who dont want our food or anything and are going to leave at the end of the night. Add that to the fact that the friend has told my fiancee that she doesnt see us lasting and that I don't treat her right because we fight. I always apologize and have never hit her or anything abusive. I hate when friends try to get into my relationship - i mean i don't go around telling her that her boyfriend is an abusive control freak (which i do believe) I just try to make sure she is okay. So anyways the friend whines to my fiancee and then says she feels like she's lost all of her friends. So what does my fiancee tell her you're about to, great like i need her to get pissed and try to fight and on top of that she says she thinks i don't care (i do but i wont be shit on anymore by anymore friends) and then my fiancee tells her that i dont right now. WTF I do but I also don't want to fight today I have too much to do. I love my fiancee and I love my friend but I wish they would stop sticking their noses in to the other ship.

All about me
So I'm 22 a broadcasting senior. This is my final year because I will graduate in December. I have struggled the past 5 years to become a senior and graduate. I aspire to be a director and producer for televison and film. I know it will be a struggle but I look forward to it. I have written two scripts and one spoof script. I am engaged to an amazing woman and am eager to get married and start my family. I have a large extended family. I have 5 neices and nephews. I have 4 siblings including my stepsisters. I have 3 aunts, 5 uncles, and too many cousins to think of right now. I am the youngest kid of my parents. I rent an apartment, work a job and have a full class load. At the same time I have taught myself basic piano and am working on teaching myself basic guitar. I am reading the chronicles of narnia, shakespeare (for class), and hope to read Dear John, A walk to remember, and just because I am...doesnt mean. I am an easy going blue sanguine :). But I guess that is all for now more later...guaranteed.
